Only a hyper-partisan ass-hat assigns culpability to a president for the loss of military personnel in individual engagements or missions.

Trump on the other hand mishandled, bigly, the biggest confrontation that the American people have been in engaged in in our lifetime, the battle against Covid.

Trump admitted that he downplayed it so as not to 'panic us'. He politicized the response by disparaging masks and social distancing mostly because he panicked about the effect on the economy and on his reelection.

He miscalculated badly and assured a recession, his electoral defeat and the deaths of 400K Americans on his watch.

Indirectly, through his incendiary remarks to his rube insurrectionists, he is responsible for the ensuing deaths.

Fuck him for ALL of that and for his moronic 'stop the steal' rabblerousing.
