Quite honestly, I see no reason for two levels of block.

I'd say one type of block.

Put a person on block, you can't:

1) Read their messages
2) Get any kind of message from them - public or private
3) Write to them

Two places to click "Block this Poster" -- on the PM view and on their profile.

Simplifies things. I can see questions coming already from people...Because you have the easy-to-toggle filtering, I don't see why this would hurt anything.
