Good point. "Stainless Steel" and "7000 Aluminum" aren't brand names but material names. So perhaps Apple will refer to liquidmetal by type.
"Bulk Metallic Glass" doesn't make something sound strong, so I doubt they'll say that. They could go with reference to it being an alloy -- Titanium alloy, etc. and I suppose that's possible. They could even give it their own name -- Apple Platinum.
Still, Liquidmetal captures the imagination. For me it's easy to imagine "Liquidmetal" printed on the bottom of an Apple Watch. But it's not a slam dunk.
As with the above, I think "Liquidmetal" sounds fragile or like it will melt into a puddle. So Apple marketing may prefer one of the options above. In that case they would still defend the trademarks, I think, because that's a necessary part of having them.
Also, finally, even if Apple doesn't mention Liquidmetal, whatever they call it will get some attention because of the unique properties it brings to the product. And anyone with access to Google will know in a flash that Liquidmetal is the company behind the curtain. Just like we know who supplies the glass and who supplies the cameras.
So in the end it's all good, however it works out. As long as it's used we're golden
