I am using Etrade, and all you do is go to the same screen you use to buy stock, click sell, then click limit, and set your price to 5.00 or whatever you wish, but most important, below, click good for 60 day, or good till cancel..
TD Ameritrade, not sure what their platform is like, but I imagine its pretty much the same.
