That's an undocumented unscientific assumption by that reporter which needs to be reined in in the media. It's that type of undocumented off the cuff comments that hurts everyone in the vaccine arena and stolen election rhetoric. In this case, that reporter was basically making a personal statement based on Scientific speculation as well.

Evidence is strong on climate change, but the facts aren't in and theories are all over the place. Climate is and has always been dynamic and changing and I wouldn't bet against the earth doing whatever it wants regardless what the scientists say.
