Oh it sounds better than libel, slander is easier to understand.

I'm glad to slander and libel Fauci any day of the year, doubt if he'd ever sue me because he cannot, repeat cannot, since he based many of his recommendations not on science.

When speaking the truth there's no libel, Fauci caused needless death in this country due to his knowing suppression of a therapeutic and other drugs that worked to alleviate Covid. TRUTH TRUTH cannot be prosecuted, that's why the little weasel will never pursue a suit.

Now private practicing doctors are another story, untruths about them can be pursued.
