Don’t know much about 401Ks.



Its a company sponsored retirement account.

Benefits are that for every dollar pre tax I place in company matches upto 9% dollar per dollar.

So free money.

Downside, is where you can place this money.

They give you a number of pre built investment packages depending on your risk tolerance.

The free money is what keeps me.

The placement of this free money along with my pre tax money, is what worries me.
