Direct Phase 1 did what it did by injecting only one tumor, without checkpoint inhibitors, with 3 different dosages and 2 different activation types, one of which was compared to a placebo by the company at one point, and improper spacing of treatments. Direct identifies all the targets without any human direction in doing so. Notice that for mRNA vaccines identifying the targets is necessary to get the effect mentioned. The cost to produce Direct will be relatively low compared to L and probably mRNA tech too as this is a personalized vaccine and manufacturing for Direct is already fully enclosed and basically approvable.
Getting attention now is important for others because once L is approved and Direct gets started the attention will turn quickly to what an optimized Direct can do. NWBO is positioning itself well for a springboard effect off of the approval of L. Best wishes.
