That candlestick on June 18 was closer to being a Doji (dragonfly or inverted gravestone), so not a strong signal, and it was followed by 2 more dojis instead of a selloff.
The time I did see a bearish candlestick developing (shooting star) was intraday on June 7, but it rallied in the afternoon and averted the shooting star.
But better to not get too crazy with these TA signals. They are useful, but the stock's own news flow can supersede the charts.
Fwiw, I'm just following the stock for fun. Missed the boat, and didn't want to chase it. But I've never seen such a mega move like this, so orderly, and without a significant pullback. Now it finally got the pullback, and next week will likely stabilize in the mid-teens. Beyond that who knows. The next Qualcomm?
