She was very modestly qualified to be CFO (which I think was part-time). IN a big accounting firm she would be a manager, not a Sr. Mgr, Director or Partner. She knew how to do the filings, which was all that was needed.

A big-time CEO would know more about Wall Street and dealing with the market, which I expect Dr. M has been handling, and would have the knowledge to be a controller of a major corporation as well.
