Att. All. Some of you are aware BullNBear again decided to rubbish Tornado Alley on his board. I say again as he has sunk to that level more than once before. I only became aware of his most recent attack on Tornado Alley, and in that on the posters here, when two posters here mentioned it to me yesterday. If it hadn't been mentioned to me i would have missed it.

After taking a day off yesterday and reading the TA board I find it an entire waste of time.

After being told of the slurs (yet again) against Tornado Alley i popped over wondering how it would read, and what form any reply from me might take. Initially i said to one of the two who told me about it, thanks i'll have a look and maybe reply with a cartoon. That was my initial feeling about the matter as, yes, sigh unfortunately it wasn't the first time.

My reply ended up much bigger than planned. Guess i felt the injustice served in BNB's post warranted it. This was my first reply

BullNBear, So your campaign to get admin. to take Tornado Alley's free status away continues, eh. You almost succeeded once. It was taken away - by a kind of mistake - until we asked why. Then with the considerate understanding of admin. we got it back, almost immediately.

I'm not surprised the milk of human kindness runs more strongly among admin, than it does in you. Highly disappointed again. Not surprised.

There is among admin. a genuine appreciation of Mark's contribution to iHub and how he would feel about the situation today. Appreciation and understanding which you in your mean spirited and misguided rant obviously lack.

Your misrepresentation of Mark is sad to see. Your misrepresentation of me there is not surprising.

It's sad that your envy has taken you to such a distorted view of Tornado Alley. All objectivity out the window. It's sad that you obviously feel there is some sort of competition going on between the two boards. In spite of the fact that i told you clearly some years ago that was a silly position to take.

You sure never knew Mark very well. Yeah, i know of how you ran to admin. behind his back and that he was furious about that. And i know you then again broke your word on that score with him. And of course you did it to us not all that long ago when you whined to admin. re our continued free status.

In spite of Mark filling me in on all your spiteful maneuvering he told me sometime fairly long back that he and you had agreed to let bygones be bygones. Both he and i felt good about that. And that it had to be particularly good for you. I thought we had reached that stage also.

I can tell you with absolute certainty Mark would totally understand and appreciate the situation which exists today. The situation you have so sorely misrepresented above.

And that Mark would roll over in his grave if he could read that you were still whining about his board behind the back of the moderators today.

Part of our deal is that we don't want to be seen as simply an echo chamber - though trolls as conix make that blatant and stupid lie accusation even now - as most all of the conservative political boards on iHub are seen. Seen like that because they are nothing more than echo chambers.

That is, in part, evidenced by the fact most all of us here are banned on all of the conservative boards here. At least those which have been around as long as TA has been.

We also feel a responsibility to carry on Mark's legacy to some degree. He argued with, got fed up with and banned and unbanned trolls. Just as we do.

There was a time i recall, perhaps about 5 years ago, TA was a bit quiet and Mark suggested to me - he ran it by a couple of others too - that we take some of those on the ban list then off it. Which we did. We took about five in all off at one time. i think, most of those have left us again, either voluntarily or not.

I repeat again there should be no competition between the non-conservative boards on iHub. As i encouraged you to accept, so long ago, we are on the same side.

For you there was no misrepresentation. I made an innocuous post about your issues regarding computers. It was a joke. You decided to parse the hell out of it just because that is you. I mean for crying out loud you just are incapable of letting things go.

No envy and that is BS. I had no objection to the TA board being free since I was well aware of the relationship Mark had with Ihub. Now that he is gone that relationship should have ended. However I may add you decided to abuse the status of the board by banning people who had you on ignore. I did get that corrected by Ihub admin much to your chagrin.

That post of his contained more than one erroneous statement, or misrepresentation. I'll leave readers to make your
own decision on some of his logic there. My reply was deleted which is the sole reason i'm making this post today.

Admin. made a considered decision to allow the free status to continue in appreciation of Mark's memory. It's too bad you can't accept their view.

You left the word computer out in your post. With your history yours was a petty dig and i made one comment on that. Now you say it was a joke. That's the out Trump uses when he is caught out saying something out of order.

Sorry pal you know what the situation between us has been for years. You have, totally without justification, accused me of attempting to influence the moderation of your board. I've never done that. On the other hand you have been a constant critic of the moderation of Tornado. You whined to admin. behind Mark's back. He told you how he felt about that. After Mark died you whined to admin. behind our back. We have let you know how we feel about that. All same.

Re the banning of people who had my pms banned. You got that wrong too. It had nothing to do with having my posts on ignore. You know full well that was Mark's policy. I simply carried Mark's policy on on that. I didn't know it was against the rules. For you to suggest i did it when Mark didn't is both dishonest and disingenuous of you.

All i said in my previous post and in this one is true. There is really no more to say.

While he is still welcome to post on Tornado Alley he has also banned me from his board.

Authoritarian attitudes move repressive fingers in all sorts of places.
