We do share your frustration and dismay at the mess on the board, at times. We do understand your pissedoffedness. We do.

Part of our deal is that we don't want to be seen as simply an echo chamber - though trolls as conix make that blatant and stupid lie accusation even now - as most all of the conservative political boards on iHub are seen. Seen like that because they are nothing more than echo chambers.

That is, in part, evidenced by the fact most all of us here are banned on all of the conservative boards here. At least those which have been around as long as TA has been.

We also feel a responsibility to carry on Mark's legacy to some degree. He argued with, got fed up with and banned and unbanned trolls. Just as we do.

There was a time i recall, perhaps about 5 years ago, TA was a bit quiet and Mark suggested to me - he ran it by a couple of others too - that we take some of those on the ban list then off it. Which we did. We took about five in all off at one time. i think, most of those have left us again, either voluntarily or not.

??? I guess i'm taking the trouble to write this to you because it hurts a bit to see you post more than anything else these days your dissatisfaction with this place. And i just hope you might consider that since you first arrived here it really hasn't, in essence, changed as much as you might imagine.

Look back to that time. You will see Tornado Alley is no more full of trolls now than it ever was. There have been times when there were more. The bans list attests to that.
