I haven't been posting lately but I still hold a substantial number of shares of Amarin. One thing that caught my attention in the latest 8k released this morning was the appointment of Ernst & Young for their public accounting.

About 10 years back I sold a software business and had a number of suitors looking at making an offer. The common question, almost all of them asked after understanding our revenues (reoccurring/maintenance vs new sales) was our accounting method and the firm handling our accounting.

I also held stock in a company a couple of years back called Osiris and one of the things they did prior to selling their company was to appoint Ernst & Young as their public account firm (one of the big 3 firms). a lot of small/mid cap's don't use the big 3 because of costs.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this but it feels as if they are making this switch because they either have an offer on the table from a BP requiring Ernst & Young to do a full audit of their books or they are now actively preparing for that future situation. Either way, I see it as a very big positive of the future direction of the company.
