They dumped the responsibility of the DBMM short position on the brokerage house who backed the trade. Shares may be copied to other brokerage houses. The ripple effect could be huge. It may make Game Stock look like a picnic in the park. So the SEC is trying to run DBMM into bankruptcy so any decision will have no substance.

True.... makes sense..... however the there is insurance to cover. Up to $61 trillion.

So it pays to be a crook, not an investor. The SEC will protect the illegal
naked shorts and throw investors to the wolves....

Whole system needs an overhaul.
