Being able to deliver absolutely unique and proprietary photonic system capabilities in terms of speed, bandwidth and low energy consumption from a very competitive and state of the art US manufacturing platform

I would suspect that this is exactly what the current Administration would love to see as it relates to one of their "infrastructure" goals of providing quality (high speed, using less energy) bandwidth to under served US communities in rural areas. the GF CEO would be very important if he can get Congressional support on board to help lead this effort with some of their funds (assuming that is possible; or if the bill to increase chip making capability can also be part of those developmental funds).

Didn't the GF CEO say (in the interview w/ LWLG CEO) that some of this development would best occur in the University research centers???
