They are moving forward in a targeted direction. But quiet. The real work being done at Canopy was in the Beckley partnership, EBBU efforts on gene replication and the companies purchased for patents (German Sub.). I have seen exactly ZERO information out of those three segments since date of purchase. aside from the extraction lawsuit.

My answer on most of this is simple. They do not need to. Patent trolling will make a lot more cash with a guaranteed return. R&D in a non-federally regulated field is not worth it.

Constellation knows what they do best. Consumer sin brands. Canopy will become that for them. And the rest will be piece-mail sold off for A HUGE FOOKING profit to the pharma industry, agg industry, materials industry... Constellation is not looking to change the core of their business.

They will strip canopy for parts while maintaining the core "brands" and it will be immensely profitable.
