The US is where the focus is but those that really know the industry and the politics say it is going to be a long haul to legalization there. You are right that as soon as they announce the bill it will make a pop. Canopy will have another wave of hype to raise it before they have to show numbers. I doubt it will come before the June earnings so there are 2 of those in our future :)
The thing I do not understand is, why is Canopy not pushing their advantage in the research and development in medicine and pet care globally? Are they just US focused since Constellation is a US company? That is one of the things that confuses me. Maybe they had too many projects in too many directions. I have no idea. I am eager to see what they say about progress in that area in the earnings call.
