That may be. But the draft of the article had not yet been seen by all the other authors (as of 2 weeks ago).

So that means they have to review it, which has been explained by longs as a long process of herding cats. Then submit. Then peer review. And then highly likely at least one more cycle.

So they are not going to have even an accepted for publication date for quite a while.

And that all assumes they are even ready to produce a paper. They might still be working on the super-duper stat model to explain this crap.
