I think of it like an illegal gambling ring in a back room. If it gets broken up by the police, then those involved may lose money. That's the chance taken when gambling on sketchy things.

It's still trading, so not as bad as being revoked.

"It is easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled."

For those that don't get it, it means that people need to be more careful, and do good due diligence...
