And all those countries still practice Capitalism more or less.

They are, in a way, mixed economies. They largely claim to be socialist. But in none of them, far as I know, are major industries owned/controlled by the government. Because time has made it clear that that doesn't work.

However, some essential services are government-run. Like postal services and mass transport. Neither of which can really run profitably without subsidies. But transportation, for example, creates jobs, and gives people the means to get to work. So the subsidies are worth it in the long run. Not every business needs to be profitable.
