In fact, there is a small but nonzero chance, based on the blinded data and historical controls, that DC-VAX has little effect on overall survival, maybe even within the margin of error. The blinded data were inconclusive. That’s probably why they were published in a relatively minor publication.

No Johnni, you are misapplying the study when you write: "when I began to look at all the NWBO corporate communications with a more skeptical eye," because the study is comparing stats for Glio in the general population to those in a clinical study (where they suggest we may be comparing apples to oranges) but they do not make any conclusion that would throw in doubt when comparing the placebos of earlier clinical studies (in failed trials) to the placebo result in the NWBO trials, AS ALL THESE TRIALS DO HAVE COMPARABLE INCLUSION/EXCLUSION CRITERIA. Thus if there is a difference between the placebo and treatment populations, there is no reason to assume this is the Norwegian study rearing its ugly head, but that it is legitimately indicating success in the trial (if it can show stat. sig.)
