"Please enlighten me of the times when I was naive about hardware. People like you seem to believe that they can lie about a person and others will just believe it."

As you well know, old posts are hard to get off SI. So if you want to bluff your way through, I guess you can.

"But at the same time, don't forget that we have YOUR word that you are NOT any kind of hardware expert, and in light of that, I think people can make up their own minds."

That they can. I don't claim expertise I don't have.

"So now you agree that Q2 is a stretch, yet at the same time you are trying to argue that booting up to Windows and running Task Manager makes the product "almost validated"."

I have always stated Q2 is a stretch. But as to "almost validated", you are playing you very old game of "straw man". I never said that. Nor implied it.

"Why do you bother responding, if you view me like you do above?"

Because, as I noted, I got tired of the same post, over and over again. By now, we all know your opinion on the subject. Give it a rest.

As far as the insults, you were first off the mark on that. It is your trademark, after all. I got tired of that too. So I responded in kind. You have a tendency to belittle everyone you don't agree with. That is ok, I suppose.

"People like you are too proud to back off from an argument you know nothing about"

There you go again. Typical wbmw style of argument.

I don't claim to be a hardware expert in the sense that I have not had much to do with commercial processor development. I do know quite a bit about processors, both hardware and software. I have worked with the damned things at various levels for over 30 years. Everthing from designing single board computers to OS internals. So to say I know nothing about the subject is nonsense.
