Re: Long term posters remember when you were quit naive about hardware.
Please enlighten me of the times when I was naive about hardware. People like you seem to believe that they can lie about a person and others will just believe it. Time to either back up your accusations with a link, or just back off.
Re: All we have is your word that you are any kind of hardware expert.
I guess you're right, CJ. People can either take it or leave it when it comes to my assertations. But at the same time, don't forget that we have YOUR word that you are NOT any kind of hardware expert, and in light of that, I think people can make up their own minds.
Re: I have said on more than one occasion that I thought Q2 was a stretch.
So now you agree that Q2 is a stretch, yet at the same time you are trying to argue that booting up to Windows and running Task Manager makes the product "almost validated". Well, which is it? You can't have it both ways. If booting to Windows has AMD most of the way there, you think a few minor things like virtualization and power management are going to take more than 6 more months to debug and launch? Right... just keep on digging that hole....
Re: You are probably the top poster on both of these moderated boards, and they all are just about the same. Some people have accused you of being a paid basher, and there is a reason for it. You have an obvious ax to grind, did Hector scare you as a baby or something? Or do you just don't have a life?
I post because I enjoy it. Why do you bother responding, if you view me like you do above? I have nothing to hide, and I have never avoided addressing my own biases. How about yourself? If you think you have such a strong argument, why are you now resorting to getting personal and defaming my character, instead of addressing the argument?
I see this a lot over on AMD boards. People like you are too proud to back off from an argument you know nothing about, so you insult my intelligence ("Long term posters remember when you were quit naive"), then insult my motives ("Some people have accused you of being a paid basher"), then insult my social life ("Or do you just don't have a life?"). It's quite a low blow, and it does nothing to resolve the argument in question. But I assume truly despicable and disingenuous people already know all this....
