Damn. I was hoping that would work. Anyway, that step is the first thing Verizon support will ask you to do so you can tell them you have already tried that. It sounds like the problem may be with Verizon. It would probably be time to give a call to their customer support. You said your Mac was up to date so I scoured the web looking for a similar problem when upgrading to Mac OS Big Sur (the latest version). I really couldn't find any documented problems like yours attributed to Big Sur. That leads me to think you should talk to Verizon.
