So I called. She answered. It was a tortured 5 minute convo rife with language barrier issues. I asked if her company was owned by Yasheng. Not sure what she said. I asked twice. But she was patient. I kept going. I told her who I was, where I was calling from, shareholder of HERB, etc. Didn't quite understand her response but she didn't seem like I was asking her the strangest goddamn questions ever. She seemed like she understood the point of my fishing expedition. Then I just asked if she was Mei Wu, and spelled out "W - U". Got a clear yes. Got an emphatic "I am Wu!"

That was as far as I dared to go. Thought about asking what is going on with ERA spinoff but I'm not sure if I would understand the answer in perfect English so why bother under these circumstances?

Glad I didn't. MeiMei Wu's LinkedIn profile is below. I don't think MeiMei Wu and Mei Ping Wu are the same person. Lolz!
