Mueller's?? While it's probably better than it once was, I'd stick with Barilla or De Cecco. Or, if you can find them, there are inexpensive brands imported from Italy that are surprisingly good quality. My Acme used to stock one of them, but has by now give up; that and a few other brands were driven out by the avalanche of "gluten free" pasta.

And finding good-quality canned tomatoes can be challenging. Cento uses to be very good, but for years now they've been adding more "heavy juice" and cutting back on the tomatoes. There are some good brands. My favorite is De Lallo, a company in western Pennsylvania that imports what it sells from Italy. More expensive than most brands, but there're good values if you can find them on sale. (Or if you order from their website.)

Acme now only has them occasionally, usually when they're on sale.
