Ha!...no ...I knew you spent some time there. Just not a couple of decades. I dated this girl many years back. Both her parents had a broken English accent. What I learned most was peppers, cheese, and bread. I remember going to the store for her once, and she said to get the "American bread"(any bread bought in a store). She baked her own bread...but the killer were the peppers(mostly hot). She broiled them ...peeled the skin off...and added olive oil(a little more). It's one of my favorite meals..peppers..."real" cheese ... and "real" bread. Used to cook it for my son when he was young...and he loved it.

We ate a lot of squid as well(many years back). Lovn' that stuffed squid..et al...all of it.
