Hank, the daily action is the sum total of all the trading/investing decisions made for that day and over the course of time, patterns form that are either bullish or bearish or neutral and these repeats itself in some form that indicates the likelihood of the bull or bear thesis. If you don't think so it's fine and I'm not here to convince anyone either. Charting is an art form with mathematical (but not scientific) elements in it and may not be everyone's cup of tea. I understand that. If I have helped investors/traders here be profitable I'm happy.
