I am pointing out that your post was a non sequitur since Fluvoxamine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant.

I posted a peer reviewed publication showing that Fluvoxamine in fact showed stat sig improvement in sleep on the Ham-D scale that Anavex also used to show that 8 patients with insomnia improved in an open label trial.

You responded with a side effect profile from drugs.com that is likely associated with the drug being a SSRI.

You original argument was that A2-73 as a S1R agonist binds differently and somewhat better than other S1R agonists.

Fluvoxamine has not been tested as an S1R agonist in sleep disorder, but as a SSRI.

I posted a study with Pridopidine tested as a S1R agonist in Huntington’s, which in open label trials worked great and failed in a P3 RCT.

I did that as an example of not jumping too quickly to we got this conclusions.
