My son got the letter. He is covered by UHC. He has also been using a prescription for V. He is not on a statin. V was prescribed as a preventative because of the family history of Diabetes and heart problems on his mother's side of the family. Their letter recommended several different statins and generic Lovaza as substitutions for V. I guess using V as a preventative is not quite acceptable yet.
