I wouldn't exactly, either, but if someone like mas is going to set the stage for a "what if Penryn is bust while K8L is a home run" theory, then he should at least look at the data currently available that I once again had to point out to him.

IMO, K8L will be fabulous. It has to be, and I'm sure it has the entire company putting every resource available to make it a success. But let's face the facts. It wasn't exactly up to spec in December, so it's probably not going to be shipping any time soon.

As I have stated before, I think there is a good chance that AMD will have it out in Q3 (enough to claim a mid-year launch), and yet still a reasonable chance that it slips to Q4 as well.
