Lilly hit it out of the park in AD. Anavex is not going to be able to compete. Unannounced PDD data probably fell short, which leaves Rett syndrome to potentially save the day. An awful lot is hanging on knock-out Rett data. Let’s not forget that Neuren/Acadia has reported good Rett data, is well ahead in the clinic, and Acadia is better resourced for commercialization than Anavex. A scenario in which AVXL is cut to low single digits is not far fetched. I’m prepared to be patient to scoop up trading shares at much lower prices.
