"Spider silk yarn will be a niche market for those looking for advanced properties and can afford it. You realise there is a difference between mundane and spider silk yeah?"

you said china will not be a serious competitor in the future...then you said: "The US market is the ONLY significant market and right now, KBL has absolutely no competition in its league."

first, there is NO established market as yet...ANYWHERE...there is no "league"...
secondly, the market that kblb is currently attempting to enter is the clothing industry...

china DOMINATES that category...and will, for the foreseeable future...china is currently working with randy lewis on spider silk...

there is NO POSSIBLE WAY that china is not going to be a player in the industry...

again, 70 thousand tons vs a shoebox full...and we've already counted china out??...lol

"and yet so many Chinese exports suffer on the Western market such as their food industry, plastics, electronics, solar panels, steel, airliners, cars, military hardware"

and yet china has become an enormous economic global force...and they are only just beginning...

i can remember when "made in japan" was a punchline in jokes..."made in japan" automatically meant poor quality...and their cars were laughed at...

that didnt last long...

"Hey maybe you're right... a thousand years."

just so you understand what i said, i meant that a thousand years from now, china will STILL be a competitor...

i have always stated that if there is an industry for spider silk in clothing, china will dominate that...

if kblb spider silk is all that they are said to be, they have the potential to do very well in the technical spider silk space...even if china eventually enters that as well...

but the truth of the matter is, none of that should matter to kblb investors...

if kblb gets to 2 bucks, it will be sold to the highest bidder..

theres far too much work involved in growing kblb for a lazy guy like kim to want to bother with...
