I guess I have to be more literal...

You take a group of cancer patients with a similar profile and make the endpoint successful pain treatment for a short trial duration.

Then you do an OLE and monitor and research the effect of the drug on the cancer itself.

Sorry, I thought the strategy was an obvious possibility.
