I don't see how this is related to Interplay. Interplay is a shell of a company run by a CEO who tried to sell it a few years ago. No sale occurred as there were no compelling offers for their name and IP. Now he is licensing out his IP for remakes and other streaming services to host the older games. For years the CEO has been getting money from the licensing and probably issuing himself shares too. It is a small money printing entity to pay himself. They don't even have a web site.
