I’m in nobody’s camp. Shorting is legal, but restricting one side from buying while the other sells is criminal. It’s stealing. Saying one side can effectively kill a stock but the other side can’t try to save a stock is undemocratic. Conspiracy to kill a stock is also illegal. The hedge funds got bailed out today. GameStop might survive if it makes it through Covid, expand/adapt their business model. You don’t know, and the brokers aren’t God, but they played one today.
