Tulips are what comes to my mind though. The GME saga may actually be significant. Shorting is an integral part of the market. I think this kills a lot of shorting. At the very least it may make shorting more expensive as strategies are developed to limit losses. That would probably have the effect of hampering price discovery and making markets less efficient. Love or hate Citron, but they have brought quite a few scams to light.
