Irishpaddy, In my life I hate to see anything go to waste. Be it human
potential or loaf of bread. Many of us on this board understood the
wonderful potential that Vascepa has with many indications beyond CVD.
For a myriad of reasons this particular medication is not receiving the
kind of reception that a safe and effective drug for the number one
killer should have. To put it very bluntly it is war of ignorance and
stupidity against logic and science. The last thing in the world I
want to see is an amazingly beneficial medication be "laid to waste."
For whatever reason(s) the management of AMRN has failed to get the
message of Vascepa to be accepted. I would like to see that changed.
People believe in Tesla because they believe it will change our world
for the better...I'm familiar with what Teslas can do...Amazing technologies at work there! Amarin, and Vascepa should be the Tesla
of the drug world. Pathetically, it is not. John Thero used to say
that 10's of millions would benefit from Vascepa. I still believe that.
My belief is that Vascepa will keep people healthier for a much longer
period of time if used properly. (My guess there is to start using it
before normal aging issues begin to crop up.) Vascepa is more than
just a CV drug or a drug to lower Triglyceride levels. Vascepa is
totally useless if it is not used! I DON'T WANT THIS TO GO TO WASTE!
