For once my ass. :) Bubble boy ;) On a serious note...the shop class kill is one of the worse things that ever happened with our educational system. It had absolutely nothing to do with class struggles..or budget. When I was 12 years old...I poured an aluminum casting(foundry) to make a candlestick in middle school.

I still have the son of a bitch that I gave to my parents...and it ways like 20 pounds..lol. I had three years of shop class in middle school because it was mandatory(6th,7th,8th grade)...and the classes were evenly spread out with girls and boys. WTF happened to a rounded education.
