Congress how disgusting they are and the 17 percent approval rate backs up my rage.

While most people look forward to retiring we have 48 Senators over the age of 65 and 147 Reps.

All their hanging around for is the benefits they get and when is the last time we have seen a bill passed where both agree?

If I understand it to vote a congress person needs to be present. Just imagine the cost to transport all of congress to and from DC to vote and what their lodging costs.

Hard for me to believe in this day and age a secure voting system cant be done over the net and save millions every year.

The average age of the Democratic House leadership is 72 years old, whereas the average age of Republican House leadership is 48 years old. This trend continues in House committee leadership with Republican chairmen averaging 59 years old and ranking Democrats averaging 68 years old.
