Good news

Why?

I realize that many here will instinctively cheer any failure in oncology as it supposedly helps NWBO. But in this case it is really a reach.

Merck's Keytruda withstood a challenge in it's most significant indictation (NSCLC). That makes for less reason (not more reason) for Merck to need to buy NWBO.

BTW, the failed drug, buntrafust, is still being trialed in other indication, but things do not look all that good. The news today was an interim stop, which typically points to very bad results.
