He cannot bring himself to being a loser, in the Grandest show he's ever managed or ever will. That's his humiliation, Covid, insurrection, the country and the Republican party be damned.
I wouldn't trade places with Donald Trump for all the wealth he may have and I doubt many would. He's heading down the other side of the mountain.
