Oh don't get me wrong, Trump wants Biden to fail badly, just as much as he wanted his insurrection to win bigly!

I think he'll be denied on both. He needed to say something. He didn't say much. He's humiliated, and very rightly so, but his humiliation is not for reasons most good people would feel that pang.

He cannot bring himself to being a loser, in the Grandest show he's ever managed or ever will. That's his humiliation, Covid, insurrection, the country and the Republican party be damned.

I wouldn't trade places with Donald Trump for all the wealth he may have and I doubt many would. He's heading down the other side of the mountain..
