TSLA - Shanghai HQ has a political officer and a boss that wants everything to go through him preferably in Chinese before Musk is sent anything. Musk is not as trapped as Jack Ma but IMO TSLA's China operation needs to have a different valuation metric compared to the rest of the company because it will be subject to the same limitations as others such as Ma's enterprises.
