To clear that up, I'm not an insider in any way, shape or form. Have never met MK or GS face to face. The one time I felt like I knew more than I should, I refrained from buying or selling or even talking about the stock for 90 days. I'm a technologist, and my medical training is limited to breaking my own body and dating a few doctors back in the day. But I do understand the chemistry and have seen enough people die around me. So yes, the product is absolutely legit in my book.
Aside from yesterday's news, my most recent disappointment stems from MK asking me to participate in the Reg A. I agreed, signed the subscription agreement, wired him $102,000, and waited for my shares. He returned the wire once the PPS went parabolic just a few weeks ago. That was my first hint.
Not calling MK out for anything, but a much better job could be done communicating the status of things. I don't think I'd have even announced that the company had applied for breakthrough. I'd just have delivered the outcome. Real progress of milestones should be reported, not "we hope" kind of deals. That's why we've been on a rollercoaster for so long.
Until the company has a real, published plan to market, I think we stay in this cycle. Approval is not adoption. And if we had adoption, we'd get approval. Hence, my calling for an evangelist. That's where I'm at.
BTW, I think the world is too hard on GS. Yes, he can be an entitled a**hole, but I think much of it is deserved. He's never been afraid to tell me the things I didn't want to hear, breached my confidence, or told me anything that wasn't the absolute truth... I'd take that over sugarcoating or speculation 8/7 days the week.
