I think this is nothing more than the changing of the guard! All administrations do this.... over the last what 5 presidents that I recollect.... and seems to gain momentum the last 3 episodes.
Warp Speed is fairly important agency for numerous reasons; the new administration can't let it go unchecked... IMO.... they want a new head to have any associated successes to go with current administration.

I think everyone is a bit on the edge of their seat because of the election... I don't vote so I can say I have a more subjective view.... for what its worth...
