•••••• Just had a long talk with Robert Davis at Maximus, about USSE:
First off, these guys have an AMAZING amount of background and experience in the power sector, and it goes well beyond Turnkey Electric, which Robert is head of.
Robert’s take on the USSE’s BioFuel is based on actually running their fuel in their OWN generators. Not a question of third hand information here. Turnkey Electric and Pratt & Whitney are both confident that the biofuel can be used in a 95%-99% blend to run their 50MW modular power plants.
The scoop on this is very clear: a 50MW power plant uses roughly 66 gallons per minute, or roughly 95,000 gallons of fuel daily. At $2.35 per gallon, that equates to $223,344 daily, or $81,520,560 yearly.
Now USSE has the ability to create fuel through their reactor tubes, sell the carbon and fertilizer to be ahead of the game, and essentially have FREE fuel left over!. Using it for the generators not only removes the yearly cost for fuel, but they get paid on the per kilowatt hour AND qualify for tons of incentives that are worth a fortune.
SOOOO what happens when a group commits to reducing their power costs by 15% using the USSEC solution and needs 2 Gigawatts???? That is 40 of these 50MW stations, and certainly not unrealistic given the team and people involved with USSEC.
According to Robert, the main priority for USSEC is ensuring that their first clients are the most profitable. The difference between earning three cents per kilowatt or seven cents per kilowatt can literally double the company’s income generation and net worth, and I think they believe they have so many options for client accessibility that they really can’t go wrong.
I also found out they own the www.mobilepacusa.com site, which is one of the main and most visible marketing arms for the new Pratt & Whitney MobilePac 25MW Power Trailer. (Check out searches on Yahoo, using power, electric etc. keywords) They have some great coverage worldwide that they are going to piggy back the USSEC products on. Robert had me type in the words “power station” as an example of market presence on Yahoo and its pretty clear they are spending money to do promotion. They are even listed on the side under large words like “power” and “electricity”.
They’re going to send me a copy of the media plan they are executing in January. Basically they have relationships with every media influencer, reporter, journalist and editor across every category with any interest towards USSEC. He is sending me their contact databases, and has said that it will include direct numbers and email addresses of more than 25,000 influencers they are going to start targeting next week, across sectors such as petroleum, biodiesel, renewable, energy conservation, etc.
All in all a very impressive conversation, and I see great things happening shortly for USSE/SPC/USSP!!!
