Failing the primary endpoint does not necessarily mean a failed trial. Assuming they failed ALL the endpoints, then I think the answer is YES they would almost certainly have informed us by now, but not necessarily because of the 4 day rule.
I don’t find Biosect’s answers confusing at all. He is just saying that the applicability of the 4 day rule is not black and white when it comes to bad trail results if the company believes they still have a path to approval.
