What i don't understand is if both parties were ok with a repeat of the $1,200 - Both parties were not ok with giving $1,200 - economists realized to stimulate the economy and get people spending $1,200 would help. The Repubs, who rushed to pass Trump's generous tax cut for wealthy individuals suddenly decided avg Americans can get by with just $600. Now Trump, the guy the Repubs made excuse after excuse for has pulled the rug from out underneath them.
