I spoke to IR and they confirmed that they are close but still working through. I called them out on missing time deadlines and they explained that as it relates to Starbuds there are 14 entities that need to be closed and its taking longer than expected- covid is part of the reason for that. I then asked if we can expect news by the end of the year he said as of now thats the goal- he mentioned there is one caveat he can't get into in regards to closing by end of the year but that remains to be seen. He kept saying stay tuned and news is close. Ultimately the biggest takeaway for me was that it is still progressing and thats the confirmation I sought. I left a voicemail friday and they called me back today which implies they're still in business and still care what investors think and he confirmed its still being finalized.
